Flora's Place is a beautiful 2/3 bedroom Art Deco apartment in a duplex in Port Kembla that is very pet friendly. The apartment was built in 1937 so has Art Deco ceiling roses and trim.
It has a large main bedroom with a Queen bed and a smaller second bedroom with a Double bed plus a sunroom with a single bed and a foldaway bed.
The sunroom has 180 degree views over the ocean, harbour, beaches, escarpment and steelworks so you can watch the big ships come in, enjoy the magnificent sunsets or track the moods of the sky, coast and mountains.
It is all set up for an easy and comfortable stay with fully equipped kitchen and laundry, TV, DVD, wifi and record player. It has a fully fenced backyard and medium size dog door for easy access.
It is sustainable with 2kw Solar panels and organic veggie garden.
Port Kembla is a much overlooked town but it has beautiful beaches, a great saltwater pool and a burgeoning café and live music culture. It is also close to Lake Illawarra which is great for fishing canoeing, sailing, windsurfing and snorkelling.
